| - Larry, at Mr Vac and Sew, was very helpful. Just what I needed. My husband had purchased a Dyson vacuum for over $535, not at this store. It has always been a problem for me, with my long hair combined with cat hair getting stuck in the beater bar, requiring that I take the machine apart. I explained my problem. Larry suggested a much less pricey Riccar, that has a beater bar that never has that problem. Never thought I could LOVE a vacuum like I do this one. Also has a bag that does not need changing but maybe several times a year, plus is better for allergies.
I also bought a new rug shampooer. His choice was good on that too.
Here are some major reasons I like this place, and Larry, the owner:
1) he guarantees his price is lowest over target, Costco, etc, and will stand by that even up to 30'days after purchase.
2) he demonstrates and trains you how to use it, including taking apart when necessary, and all the attachments too. Something one does not get when buying online or at Costco
3) the machines are already put together, ready to use.
4) IF you happen to have any issues with the machine, he inspects and fixes, or sends for parts at manufacturer to fix quickly. (As opposed to you having to contact manufacturer for a fix). The upholstery attachment on my rug shampooer did not spray properly, it was replaced in two days no charge.
I have been bringing sewing machine and vacuums to Mr Vac and Sew for 20 years. Good service, and I think they will be here in the future too. Wish I had always bought the machines here, these recent purchases he recommended are so much better.
