Booked an online reservation for a stay at intercontinental Montreal. The lobby is located in the second floor. You need to take the escalators up. The staffs are really friendly.
We stayed here for 5 days in a corner king room with a view. Got an exclusive upgrade for about $20 to get an executive suite. It was also in the corner. Room 2000. The room was very spacious. We had two tvs, one in the room and one in the living room area. The washroom was big and spacious. There was a tub and a standing shower.
The rooms were a little dim though.
There was free wifi and We had access to the club lounge. Breakfast was offered to us in the lounge from I think 7am till 10:30. They had a variety of breakfast foods and drinks. The cookies and croissants were really good. Very fresh and soft. The club lounge card allows us to access it any time we want. All you can drink for things like coffee, tea, soft drinks and water. From 5-7pm there was all you can drink alcohol. There's a variety of beer and wines you can choose from. It was pretty worth it.
As for room service. Food was horrible. It tasted like microwaved frozen food. Not worth. But the only option if you're hungry in the early morning or late nights.
There was also a cafe located right under the hotel. They have really good sandwiches.
Besides the rooms being a little old, there was not much to complain. Overall great experience ! Service was excellent!
