Vegas Laminate was recommended to me by a friend who has used them for multiple remodel projects at his house. I had a good experience with Vegas Laminate on the remodel of my master bathroom. There were several things I learned about Vegas Laminate and the remodel process in general that will hopefully help other people when they decided to pick a company for a bathroom remodel. I did my remodel in May of 2015. I'm a little late on the review but decided to write one now that some time has passed.
The business is family owned and run business. The husband, Calvin, did my initial estimate, and when it came time to do the remodel, his wife, Angel, and family members handled the rest. There was a bit of a language barrier at times and some simple misunderstandings on what I wanted. In other words, clarify everything you want on the front end.
Vegas Laminate will not do a frameless glass shower door and enclosure. Just know that going into it. You will have to find a different company to measure and install a glass shower enclosure. That will be the last thing you do and will add to the time you won't have use of your shower if you plan on doing one.
Vegas Laminate's strength is they are flexible. They don't pressure you into buying their materials if they don't have what you like. Their installers are top notch and professional. I picked out my bathroom cabinets from Vegas Laminate as well as the cabinet handles and sinks.
I picked out my own shower head, bathroom fixtures, bathroom tile and re-used the bathtub itself. No problem there. Just make sure you know what you want and buy the materials around the same time they start their work or it will prolong the process unnecessarily.
You are going to encounter an estimated time frame to remodel your bathroom. Add a week to whatever they tell you. They could have scheduled a little bit better but I did choose my own person to install the bathroom countertop. I went with Brazilian Granite. You are going to have to be on top of everything during the process and make sure you coordinate things with Calvin's wife, Angel.
Bottom line is I would use this place again and their prices are reasonable. I don't think a 5 star experience exists when it comes to remodeling a bathroom or any big project at your house.
