| - This is our second year in a row eating at Daily Dose. We loved it so much, we ate 2 of our 3 breakfasts here this Spring Training trip. Last year, we ate there on our last day in town. Several things make this an outstanding breakfast/lunch spot. First, they use fresh ingredients & make many of their own products. For example, when you ask for jam, they bring out house jam, not the usual packets. Second, the menu is interesting & varied. We thought we could probably eat there for a week & not repeat a meal. Third, portions are big and satisfying. If you walk out hungry, I would wonder about you - seriously! My son is a big eater & he couldn't finish his plate (granted he was noshing off my plate & sharing part of a pancake with his dad), but still...They have GF pancakes & what they call "stuffed" pancakes. The cinnamon roll pancake (not GF) was awesome according my guys. Omelets are 3-egg served w/ potatoes, fruit & toast. The variety is good. I loved the Chile Verde & peppered bacon omelets. Both were great, plus they note on menu which items are GF.
My son had corn pancakes with chorizo which he loved. He also liked the Hangover Sandwich. Be warned: there will be a wait if you go during normal breakfast hours. It can go over an hour at times. They serve free coffee & water while you wait & have some chairs in front. Wait staff is friendly & helpful.
