| - Let me start by saying this wasn't our first choice. We were on our way over to The Vig (which was RIGHT next door) but had to rethink our choice considering we had our in-laws who can eat like hippos. The bro-in-law wanted meat. "Meat. I need MEAT!" was all he said when I asked him what he wanted. Fine, i'll find meat...So enters this restaurant. Really cute, dive-ish restaurant with an awfully small parking lot and equally small interior space. It's the type of joint that you would find in a cute, cozy small town where regulars flock to.
We were seated immediately and was greeted by our sweet and friendly waitress. She was attentive and quick, even though she was servicing quite a few other tables.
The food was good; very comforting and filling but nothing special. Mr and I shared the Rib Eye and the in-laws got the NY steak, each. We added their cup of chili, side of mashed potatoes with house gravy, salad, and potato wedges. They also have whole jalepenos for $.10, which we got 5 of. All in all, it was a good meal but definitely not a Mastro's or Fleming's. If you want a nice, normal dinner with no frou-frou, this is the place!
