| - Here we go again! This is actually my 3rd review of DKA, and fortunately I can't really add anything , I can only reaffirm my first 2. Late 2016 my pesky AC issues returned. Dale said the compressor needed to be replaced but he said if I wanted him to warranty my AC "system" he would need to replace all of the components at the same time. Well trusting him based on my first experience I agreed. And DKA did the work. That was late September or early October 2016. I didn't have much of chance to test it out before winter set it. However the first spring day that was over 80 in March 2017, it didn't appear to be cooling. I called DKA, and spoke to an obviously busy Dale, who said bring it in. I have to add, that when DKA replaced my AC, I asked them to also install an oversized after market radiator and oversized cooling fans to battle the Las Vegas summers. which I bought on EBay. Dale obliged and suggested I do some modifications to make the fans more efficient. I never followed through with his suggestion. When I brought my car in on Wed March 22nd and explained the symptoms Dales response was " if it's something we did, we'll fix it, if it's the cooling fans or something else, I'll let you know". Well, being a long time sceptic of diagnoses that aren't obvious, like polyps in your colon ( can I please count the # you removed if I'm paying for each?) I thought for a split second I knew the obvious outcome. How else could the guy make Money. Dale called me (mind you he was swamped when I dropped it off) about 3 hours later and told me it was a lose "low side Schrader valve" and it was fixed and ready for pickup. NO CHARGE. I will NEVER ask Dale to cover for me with my wife while planning her surprise birthday party, but as I've stated before, s long as he's slinging wrenches, I'm taking all my automotive repair needs to him and DKA. Seriously folks, do yourself a favor and don't call anyone else. It's such a relief to trust your, honest, intelligent, overly certified automotive technician ( however I did hear rumor he took a package of office copy paper home for personal use). To date, I've spent north of $?000 with DKA on my 1993 Toyota MR 2, and he treats it like it's his daughters.
