  • Having been to Matcha Stand Maiko in Hawaii, I was super excited to hear that one was opening in Vegas. I came here today during their soft opening and got two drinks: kokuto matcha float and matcha float. Overall, taste met my expectations BUT some things need to be worked out before their grand opening. There was waaaaaayyy too much ice, and they skimped on the soft serve...there was so little that we could have finished the drink in a few big gulps. Unfortunately it didn't match up to the original location's standards. Compare photos from the original location, and a difference is easily seen. (We also ordered a large and received a medium instead, but didn't realize until we left so another oops). About a 3.5 stars for now. We understand that it's the soft opening, so we'll be back again after their grand opening and hopefully see the issues addressed.
