  • I was in Vegas last week with three of my friends. We purchased a Groupon deal for a 20 minute foot detox and 70 minute massage. This was one of the worst massage experiences I've ever had. The employees were rude and scammed us out of our money. We paid $38 for the Groupon and the fine print didn't state any additional charges. When we arrived we were told we had to pay a $10 per person facility fee. We quickly argued this fee since it did not state it on the Groupon. Quickly the guy changed his story and said it was the sales tax on the full service amount which was $100. Well to get technical, if it was a legitimate sales tax it would have been around $8 instead of $10. But again the Groupon didn't state anything about any additional fees. We ended up paying the fee just to get on with the day and get the service going. They made us fill out a form stating how we would like our massages and any spots we do not want massaged. I had stated I did not want my feet massaged because I don't like people touching my feet. Just before the service started, the front desk guy came in and told he that if I did not want my feet massaged it would cost me an additional $35. Yes, you read that correctly. They wanted me to pay more for less service. Then I started to question, why did they even ask if I didn't want a certain part massaged at all? The massage was not great at all. The guy I had was really rude and unpleasant. The way he was massaging me made me think that maybe he wasn't certified. I didn't want to tip the guy at all, but we were quickly told that tipping was mandatory with a $10 minimum.... Yes, another $10 on top of the "facility fee". This is a horrible establishment and people should go elsewhere. Last time I was in Vegas I got a massage at a place called Reflective Hands and they did a great job. I would've gone there this time but they weren't able to accommodate my entire party at the same time. Think twice before buying this Groupon... HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE...
