| - Absolute nightmare of a dealership. Bought a truck, put $10,500 down, financed the remaining balance & bought the full top tier warranty. Spent the next 9-12 months of my life with the truck in and out of the service department. Every excuse in the book as to why they couldn't and wouldn't fix issues with the transmission, stereo, a/c, rear differential. Got so bad I had to contact Ford Executive offices directly and have a liaison assigned to be the go-between myself and the dealership. This lasted for 9 months. Almost $1000 in rental fees and warranty deductibles, as every time I'd bring my truck back they charge me again (even for the same issues). I ended up just walking away from the truck, giving up, and trading it in to a different dealership getting out of Fords all together. I essentially lost all the money I'd paid for the service/warranty visits, rentals while it was there, $10,500 down payment, & $4k lift with rims and tires. The last time I spoke with the Ford liaison I explained that I'd had enough as the truck still wasn't fixed and they wanted it for X more days. She apologized profusely and let me know they would keep this dealership on their internal watch list (or something like that, can't remember the exact phrasing she used) and told me if I ever decided to come back to Ford to contact her and she would set me up with a different dealership and try and discount a vehicle.
Come to find out even after all the documentation I provided to them about the main problem the truck was having from multiple other mechanics and reputable online sites with the same year/s make and model of my truck, a couple months after I got rid of the truck Ford released a Tech Bulletin about the issue and a fix of exactly what they refused to do / listen to me about. Hands down worst experience I've ever had with a dealership. Don't for the love of god ever deal with San Tan Ford!
