So my daughter talks me into taking her to the newest ice cream fad in Pittsburgh. Beings that I've tried rolled ice cream in NYC and Philly I was reluctant to go but couldn't tell her no. Like the others it's mostly set apart by their toppings and quality of ice cream base. Which they do have a nice selection of toppings and pre chosen configurations. I had the key lime pie with extra whipped cream and was pleased with the taste. Where I'm not pleased is the actual amount of ice cream to cost ratio. Now this maybe just my opinion but I believe that the rolled ice cream takes up much more space in the container causing a loss of product. One could get a similar costing product at a competitor that mixes in toppings on a slab and have a much heavier product that can be shared by two people. Not that I would share of course. Lol
