Three employees were working. Two were cutting fabric; one was checking out a long line of customers. And when that solitary cashier ran into a problem it was a disaster. She called for assistance several times but there was nobody to help. When I decided to leave my basket and return later when they weren't so busy, the cashier acidly said, "Thanks SO much for your patience."
This is not the first unpleasant experience I've had at the Ahwatukee Joann's. Even though I live very near this store, from now on, I'm driving to Mesa or Gilbert for my sewing needs.
