  • Stay far away from this Pharmacy. Not only was I not counseled on a controlled substance by pharmacist Edmund, he refused to accept my goodrx coupon for my dog's phenobarbital. We ended up paying twice as much for our dogs medication. When asked why, I was told that I couldn't use a coupon code for controlled substances because that was Walgreens pharmacy policy. This is completely false. Plus, we had used several goodrx coupons at this pharmacy before for the same medication. I am lucky my husband works in the pharmacy industry and knew that this wasn't the case. When my husband (who happens to be a licensed pharmacy technician) asked Edmund why he wouldn't use the goodrx coupon he told us "Because I don't have to." Edmund has absolutely no customer service skills and is not familiar with Walgreens pharmacy policies. We are making a formal complaint with the District Office so that we can recuperate our money and report Edmund's negligent behavior.
