  • So this is the mall that Simon Properties decided to focus on rather than Century III before they kicked them to the curb? Just because you hit a home run with Ross Park doesn't mean you could hit another home run with South Hills Village. I mean what ever happened to those days when you went to the mall to do more than just shop. Going to a mall now seems to be like a status symbol. "What mall you going to?" "I'm going to Ross Park." "Oh, you got money to burn." OR "I'm going to Century III." "Oh, you're going to the ghetto." And opening a Target attached to the mall...odd. I mean they attempted something like that in Johnstown at the now torn down Richland Mall with adding a Hills to the mall. I'm hoping that fate doesn't happen here. And a Dick's above a Target...I'm giggling, I need to stop. The stores that fill in between the anchors are somewhat identical to RPM and really shouldn't surprise you. Only real difference between the malls is the drive there. Much much harder to get to SHV. The traffic/roads suck. I walked in, traveled around the mall in about ten minutes with one stop in a store and was done there. It really didn't impress me much. If I need a mall, I'll stick to my part of the city. Monroeville will suffice for me.
