For a vegetarian Vietnamese restaurants, this place is great. To be honest, I didn't miss the meat at all. Tarmarind makes a wicked tofu, it's only trump by Shokunin's version.
The portions are filling and the prices are reasonable. It's a bit more than your average pho house, but the quality is better. This isn't some messy slop that's sloshed into a bucket in front of you. Everything is homemade and plated with care. I didn't care so much for the tofu stack because I didn't find it that flavourful. I enjoyed my sate tofu soup and the broth was intense.
Service is slow and it takes a while for the food to come out, but that's because this place is popular and a tiny spot.
