| - If you don't want to read the whole story, in summary:
-misleading service
-takes much longer than what they say
-quality of repairs is poor (i.e. problems still present after service)
I told myself I would never come back after my horrible tire experience, but I let the fact that this is the closest dealership to my house convince me to give it another try. I regret it. I brought in my sister's Nissan Altima after it got flood damaged in Chandler. I assumed going to the Nissan dealership would be the best option since it would be best to let the people who supposedly know about Nissan repair a Nissan. I was wrong.
So overall the engine had to be replaced. I brought in the car Sept 19th and was promised a return date of Nov 10th, which is already super long by most standards apparently. Even with such an extended deadline, I didn't actually get to pick up the car until November 28th. They took two weeks longer than an already long promise date. On top of that, when I went to go pick up the car on the 28th, they realized something was up with the tire pressure as they were giving me the car. Obviously they had to check that out, so it took an additional two days to figure that out. In the end, the tire pressure indicator stayed on and they simply told me it must've been something outside of the flood damage so they weren't responsible for it. I would have argued that they still need to give me some sort of diagnosis, but at this point I was exhausted with the whole experience and just wanted to get my car out of this disorganized, unqualified, and depressing mess. I left very dissatisfied and irritated with the whole experience, but there's more.
Luckily the heating in the car still worked so I wasn't too cold in the winter when this happened, but now it's starting to get hot and I decided to turn on the cool air. Guess what, it no longer works! My Arizona car will not cool down! The AC was perfectly fine before the flood damage so I assume it must've been damaged from the flood, which AutoNation Nissan was responsible for making all the repairs. They didn't check the A/C - awesome.
I know this account sounds exaggerated, but if anything, I'm honestly being nice. On top of the technical and logistical errors, the service experience was disorganized, misleading, and disappointing. From promised return calls that never came to paperwork errors - I'm keeping out a lot of minor details that add up to make this a lot worse then what I've recited here.
I will not give this place a third try, and I recommend that others do not even risk giving it a first.
