| - I have stayed here a couple of times now, and I would be willing to stay again. The room prices are good, I've seen them as low as $49/nt.
While not super luxurious, the rooms are not trashy either. You can feel safe to stay here, better than a lot of casinos on the Strip. I have just stayed in the lowest level rooms. The beds are reasonably comfortable. I have a bad back and need a soft bed, and was able to sleep okay, though would have liked just a little more comfort. The rooms are large. It's very quiet, even when the hotel is quite booked up, no noise problems at all - and I cannot say that about even the high-end Strip casinos these days.
The bathrooms are sometimes not as clean as I would like, but not disgusting. The toiletries are pretty good. The water pressure is abysmal. Sometimes the temperatures will fluctuate while you are showering.
The check-in clerks are efficient but not friendly or happy looking at all. The rooms and hallways smell strongly of cleaning chemicals and have a lack of fresh air, which aggravate my allergies and is a bit sickening, but not enough to deter me from staying here, as long as it remains the best budget option.
I wouldn't even bother with most of the food options, you can do a lot better. Be sure to read the reviews for the individual restaurants, if you're thinking about it. The deli and coffee shop are not bad if you do need to eat here. Seattle's Best Coffee location here is painfully slow, they will have a mega line sometimes at peak periods.
The slots here are mostly old, but they do have a few great selections of newer games. Cocktail waitresses were a little sparse.
Don't stay here if you're a tourist looking to be on the Strip a lot, don't have a car with you, or if you have a lot of chemical sensitivity or smoke sensitivity (though you will have problems almost anywhere in Vegas if that is the case). This is a better place for people here to do things other than gambling/Strip, if you're looking for a central "base" to crash at. I was just looking for a place to sleep during trips for house buying, so it was great for that.
I have not used the movie theatre or bowling alley or pool, so maybe my rating would be higher if I did. For now, I just consider it a good, solid budget hotel option in Vegas.
