  • This is a little hard because I really like the people at Gunnell's - they're friendly, honest, accommodating. Prices are very reasonable. But their level of expertise and attention to detail is lacking. I sent my son's family there to have their car's transmission checked just before a trip, and they completely misdiagnosed the problem and had to get it fixed somewhere else. When I bought new tires, I had to go back and adjust the inflation--some were underinflated, others over. And now I just took my car to my most trusted mechanic for its 30,000 mile checkup and they were complaining that the previous shop (Gunnell's) had overtightened the oil filter. Plus Gunnell's had put in regular grade oil when Lexus specifies synthetic.
