| - Their website has no info, but says to text 24/7 for an appointment. A little before 6pm I send a text asking the price, don't receive a response until 10:30AM the next day. Ok, I understand. But then I ask when I can get my dog in and I don't get a response for a few hours, again, I'm thinking maybe they're busy. But I respond right away saying Late morning is fine and asking for an exact time, and I've yet to hear back over 4 hours later. I'm not sure how you expect the customer to be able to commit to something without knowing a time. I'll find somewhere else. Leaving your baby with anyone is a bit scary, but the lack of care for this makes me wonder how much care she'd receive.
**Update to respond to owner's comment: Considering I waited until 11PM when I was told I could make an appointment for the next morning around 6PM; I do not feel I was impatient by any means. Do not advertise to make appointments via text if you're going to get upset when someone leaves an honest review of the customer service they received for trying to do so. I had been kind enough to leave off that I was quoted $50 for my 4 lbs Pomeranian (who has barely any fur due to alopecia), whereas I ended up doing more research on grooming and just about everywhere else is quoting $30-40 for a dog her size. But hey, there you go Yelpers. An honest review of my personal experience trying to give my cash to this business. Not sure why I am being trashed for utilizing the site as it's meant to be utilized. Good day to all!
**Update again: The price was not "too high for me". I will add a screenshot of our text conversation- you said $50, I said "ok, when do you have availability?" I do find it interesting that when I was willing to pay for your services, you couldn't find time to respond, yet when I leave an honest review of my experience with your company, you are very quick to respond back. I stated nothing that wasn't what happened, so I'm glad I went elsewhere, because I don't agree with the way you are handling even getting a poor Yelp review. That really says a lot. As a business owner myself, I would have looked back on the scenario and taken a look at my actions and seen if there was somewhere I could improve, and tried to make it right to possibly save a potential customer and have the opportunity to redeem myself for the Yelp review. So, my 1 star review definitely still stands. I'd give less if I could; I've found the entire exchange to be subpar from the start.
Last update: Since apparently I am just too anal in your opinion... My review of Hair of the Dog, where I ended up at, was honest as well, you can go check it out if you wish. There was a small thing that could have been improved upon, however, I still left a nice review and gave him the benefit of the doubt. Customer service goes a long way in business.
