  • This is perhaps one of the best restaurants in Champaign-Urbana for any big event or celebrations. The restaurant has a huge banquet place to accommodate a large group of 12-15 people. Definitely reserve this place well in advance as it a very popular restaurant. I have mostly dined here in big groups. The interior of the restaurant is elegant, cozy and has a vibe of upscale. They have a huge selection of beer! Since I mainly drink wine, can't really comment on their handcrafted beer. They have some of the most delicious appetizers- cheese curds, the Bavarian style pretzels and shrimp ceviches are my favorite. Among the entree, their signature dish of warm potato and salmon is amazing. The salmon is medium cooked and with the honey, mustard dressing, it tastes delicious. It's definitely my top entree choice and a must try recommendation for others. The only thing I dislike the most about this restaurant is the wait time for food! They take unusually long time to serve the food. But if you are in a big group and busy with drinks, it's not too bad of an experience. Definitely the service can be improved.
