  • Most pet shops carry only cat food or dog treats, but Marta's has it all! Their selection of fish, hamsters, rabbits, birds, and rats (the reason I went) made this place the kind of pet store you could spend all day wandering. Upon immediate entrance my first thought was "small, stuffy and smells like animals" though i soon became fond of these aspects. The staff were very personable and gave me all the time I needed to make my decision, letting me hold rats, birds and guinea pigs alike. I walked out with exactly what I was hoping for and then some. UPDATE: the rat I adopted from here in Nov 2016 is a healthy,social, and affectionate boy!
