The noise is absurd. Two weeks ago, on a Monday night (really Tuesday morning) at 1:00-- blaring bass and annoying music aimed at the room from outdoor bar speakers. Seriously?
Asked front desk clerk about the noise, he blamed all the other bars. He did not realize I had already searched on Google for other bars in the area and there was only one open on Monday nights. So the noise from the Aloft bar speakers were the culprit. The clerk said the manager thinks it adds a nice vibe. Maybe he meant vibe as in VIBRATION?! Had to check out and find another hotel. If you are coming to catch sleep before 3AM, don't bother staying here. It is not happening.
First red flag should have been the ear plugs on the nightstand versus mints on my pillow! Front desk clerk asked if I tried using them. Say what? I need to wear ear plugs to try and sleep at your hotel?!
Second red flag should have been the other Yelp reviews mentioning noise. Duh, I will never book a hotel without first checking Yelp for that in the future.
Drink and party in the neighborhood, just Uber to somewhere else to sleep. It would be worth it.
