FYI:
* Van or shuttle seats about 8 passengers
* One-way ride from LA/OC to PHX or PHX to LA/OC costs about $40
* DVD player inside as entertainment. They usually play a Vietnamese concert DVD if you don't have anything else with you to suggest
Pros:
* Cost one-way ride includes 1 Banh Mi Sandwich and 1 Bottled Water
* Can be roomy and comfortable if you are riding on a less busy day
* The drivers are usually pretty nice
Cons:
* On holidays travel times or any busy days, space can get pretty tight
* Sometimes you might have to sit by someone who doesn't stop coughing
* If you really want to book a ride but you don't speak Vietnamese, I suggest you get a Vietnamese speaking person to call for you.
Ex: Members of my family were frequent riders for awhile, and one day I needed to book a ride. I don't speak Vietnamese, and the lady told me that they had no more room. 10 minutes later, I had my mom call for me and I was booked with no problems.
This all really depends on your preferences and what your standard of travel comfort is.
Honestly, I'd rather fly or drive on my own. But if flying is too expensive, and I don't have the energy to drive, this is an okay last resort.
