| - I've been a fan of the Copper Kettle for a few years now, and now I am tickled pink to see once again they are right down the street from me.
It was a Sunday night and I didn't feel like cooking and the boys and I were hungry, so I suggested Copper Kettle and they said yes!
We arrived around 8:30 on a Sunday night and the place was still opened, we were greeted right away and shown a table to sit at.
After checking out the menu I started us off with some hummus. This was one of the best tasting hummus I have had in a while, fresh garlic, the twang of lemon, the creaminess off the chickpeas, so so good!
I have been craving chicken tikka masala, so that's what I ordered and I was no disappointed, everything was perfect! Tender pieces of chicken simmered in a flavorful creamy masala sauce, oh so good! Also ordered some pea pulao, which is peas in basmati rice & house spices, I love that stuff, probably the only time I eat peas willing too.
Also ordered some onion stuffed naan bread, you have to try it!! It's amazing! Grilled onions sandwiched in the center of fresh baked naan bread, so good!
Other dishes ordered was the ginger chicken and tarka daal, which both dishes were just as good, and everything is sort of served family style so we all shared each other's dishes, and had plenty to take home for lunch the next day.
