The Plaza was actually a great place to stay in downtown Las Vegas and the perfect spot if you want to check out Fremont street. Check in was easy and once we got into our room we were pretty satisfied. I had a joining room with other family members and both were clean and the beds were comfortable. There were a couple things like our towel bar in the bathroom kept falling off on one side, both bathrooms are verrrrrrry small, the air conditioner when turned on high made a very annoyingly loud sound and the bathroom door made a unpleasantly loud screech when opening and closing and housekeeping didn't clean our room or even knock on the door to clean it while we were there. We even saw the housekeeping cart when we left and assumed it was on the way to our room so we made sure the do not disturb sign was off. The complimentary bottled water was nice and the downstairs lobby was great. There is a McDonalds, Subway, cafe, breakfast restaurants and a steak house inside the hotel. If you walk out of the front doors, Fremont street is literally right there and the Strip is a short 15 minute Lyft or cab drive away. The casino didn't smell too bad of cigarettes compared to others and the dealers at this casino were nicer than others I had encountered.
