I believe this is the second time we've used Sixt but I can't remember the location of our first experience. This time, we rented in Phoenix AZ and encouraged our traveling friends to do the same. Renting a car in PHX isn't an easy experience since all the agencies are offsite from the airport and you need to take a shuttle bus to pick up your car. We arrived at the rental car terminal and every agency, except Sixt, had a long line of people waiting - I wasn't sure if that was a good sign or a bad sign but it turned out to be very good!
The counter staff was super efficient and helpful - offering us an upgrade to a luxury car for a ridiculously low price so we jumped at it. We finished up our paperwork and proceeded to the garage to find our vehicle. It was spotlessly clean and ready to go. Since it was a new foreign car we were taking some time to check out the controls and set it up to our liking - that's when a Sixt representative walked over and asked if we needed help. She showed us how to pair our phones to the bluetooth and other nifty things. Then she asked if we needed directions (since the car didn't have GPS) and before we took off, gave us two bottles of water for the road - now that's what I call service!!
We had no issues with car all week and the return process couldn't have been easier. I'm going to tell all my friends, Sixt is our new preferred rental car agency!
