  • I visited the botanical garden on April 7th when the flowers outside were not.. well... flowers. They had not bloomed yet. However, there is plenty going on inside! On this day we set out on a journey with no particular destination. A walk through little italy, some wine shopping, and ending up at this gem! Turtles, spiders, butterflies (and lots!!). These are just a few of the living things that you can see here other than plants. We spent a few hours walking through enjoying the view. Oh! And they have a little cafe. With yummy things! I got some iced tea. Outside they have giant checkers and chess boards. I cannot comment on the flowers out there but I am sure they will look very nice when they bloom. Bottom line is yeah, its a bit expensive BUT but but this is not something you will re-visit every weekend. If you do, cool. However, I saw this as a once-every-few-years type thing. Its good for all ages and helps get you out of the house for some exercise.
