I have to admit being slightly disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. My wife had the crab salad special with grits. They brought her grits first, then brought another bowl with the meal. They were quite plane and ordinary, nothing special. They did take her dish back and bring the cucumber salad which was ok. The crab salad didn't really taste of crab but had an overpowering flavour despite a good amount of crab in it. She said the roll tasted better than the crab.
I had the classic eggs Benedict. They have many so I tried the original to compare with other places I've tried. The hollandaise was bland, the eggs undercooked with runny whites. It came with a side of fried potatoes which had their skins on and were delicious with good seasoning and a great fried texture. Oddly enough the coffee was both weak and bitter. Not quite as bad as Cracker Barrel, but not that great either.
Overall, not really worth $40 and I doubt I'd be back.
