I have had horrendous service here and I was robbed of over $1700.
In late June 2016 I ordered 5 Jenny Yoo bridesmaid dresses from Sora Kennedy the owner of Frocks Modern Bridesmaids. I paid in full. She said it would take 4-6 months for the order to come in, and so I waited. Come October I had heard nothing and began to call the store to leave messages, but no one ever answered. I then began to leave emails with the store, again no one ever answered. I drove by the store in early November and without warning to her clients it was closed up. I tried every avenue possible to contact Sora through accessible social media accounts and emails. She will not respond to anything I send her. There are dozens of other brides and bridesmaids who have been left without dresses. This represents a pattern of criminal behaviour that took place over the course of several months.
Later that week I contacted the designer Jenny Yoo and they told me Sora had never placed the order for my dresses. I am livid and appalled that Sora stole over $1700 from me. Words cannot express my shock and disbelief over this whole despicable situation. Sora, if you read this you should be ashamed. The store is now closed but I want the public to know about the nothing short of criminal service I received. Sora Kennedy steals your money. Do not deal with her directly.
For anyone else in the same position as me, please call or contact your designer direct. They have been very helpful and accommodating with getting my order back on track.
When Sora finally contacted me in the hopes of wooing me into ordering the dresses through her she had the gaul to blame the lost order on her assistant. Fool me once Sora! Her "solution" was to get the dresses to me in 3 months!!! Laughable when the designer has already managed to get the dresses to me in under two weeks. What a joke. Sora Kennedy YOU ARE LYING MANIPULATIVE STEALING CROOK.
