  • Okay, Ballroom Bowl Bar Bistro, let's break you down to get a clear examination. First of all, your name is deceptive. There is no ballroom, nor is there any bistro. The name speaks to me and evokes pretty images of 50s-style heart-shaped necklines and a venue suitable for cutesy dates that women might actually find romantic. I'm not even that romantic a woman, and I'm repulsed at the thought of coming here with a date, let alone with my family. The venue is not even of the girls-night-out calibre. There was also no 'bistro' in sight, unless you count getting chicken wings with your beer. This is very much a guys-night kind of place. It's a very large sports bar that just happens to have a few bowling alleys, should you get bored of drinking beer and staring at men in yellow speedos wrestling on TV. Yes, that's how 'manly' it is. Also, judging from the attitude received, twice, -the servers and attendants seem to be unhappy to work there. I should note here that I came during a Yelp event where we all had the intention of using Nicole H.'s Fabfind coupon. I have used Fabfind's service several times before, and businesses have never failed to honour the coupon until now. Maybe the bowling alley should reassess their business plan, ...or the management. Why send potential customers back unhappy when you're so new in the market? I should finally add that the crowd seems to have trickled down from out of the clubs nearby. Yes, it's that bad.
