| - I went for the birthday party of a friend. We had a table of 10 but we got our own private room so it was very nice.
I ordered the Sangria, and that was not Sangria, i lived in spain, i know what Sangria tastes like, and that was like wine mixed with water....It was super strong as well, so at least if you didn't like it you could get drunk quickly and forget.
We ordered the Calamari for the appetizer and it was so so. It was supposed to come with Aioli sauce, once again, i've lived in spain, i know what aioli is and what its supposed to taste like. I felt like this tasted more like dill dip....
We ordered the Shrimp Risotto which I was thoroughly looking forward to, but it was bland.... It was a cream sauce without any real flavor to it. The side potato dish was better than the risotto, but it was nothing more that scalloped potatoes.
The honest truth is that the best thing i had while i was there was the bread and olive oil pesto dip. Which is ridiculous when you think how much you're paying to eat here.
Another thing i would say is that everything we ordered was recommended by the server. I'm totally not blaming him, because we wanted to order it before we even asked him, but he told us each time that it was a good selection.
Generally, I might try it again, but it wont be anytime soon and I'll be a lot more skeptical.
