| - After being fond of this hotel for years; having stayed here myself and referring others here - I doubt I will ever return here.
I had multiple problems during my stay. When I called downstairs to talk to a Manager, that I thought may try to resolve some of them, I was told to go downstairs and fill out a comment card. When I call to talk to someone, I expect them to take down the information and try to bring some resolution to the situation.
Brief summary - about 75 people in line to check in, yet only 3 live agents and 1 self service machine to check people in; Noise was horrible - I could hear my neighbors having relations, people in the hallway talking, and my other neighbors talking in the bathroom; Room wasn't just old, but actually looked worn out; Bed and pillows were horribly uncomfortable; They send you canned sales voice mails everyday that flash a light on your phone until you listen to them; I asked for an extra blanket but never got one; and last but not least, the one time I did not have bills to tip with, the Valet stood there and awkwardly starred at me thinking I would come up with something.
On the plus side, it is a good location. Overall (except for that Valet) the staff were friendly. I appreciated the "no resort fees", but I think it is ridiculous to charge $25/day for internet access.
