  • If I could give a negative number, I would. The Novus kiosk at Scottsdale Auto Spa should be eliminated. I am still so furious and in disbelief at this carnival sideshow excuse for a business. In brief, I was waiting at the car wash, when I was preyed upon by "John" to repair my windshield. In the blink of an eye, literally, he was filling out papers and calling my insurance. I went inside to get a drink, and was listening to the insurance rep. on my cell phone. John came inside to hover over me just in time to hear me say, " oh, so you are letting me know that I do not have windshield coverage on this policy. OK, thank you." And I hung up with the insurance rep., not feeling one way or another about it, because I wasnt there to get the 2mm chip in my windshield fixed anyway. No big shake, I could carry on with my day. I was going to tell "john" the news, but, he was out the door like a bullet. I went to the cashier to pay for my drink and by the time I returned to my vehicle (brand new- only had it 7 days!), the tiny 2mm chip was a 12in crack in the center of my windshield! "John" said he was trying to help, and maybe he was in his own bizarre sideshow carny sort of way. But, that kind of help I do not need! Here is the kicker.......he was sincerely expecting me to pay for the damage he inflicted on my windshield when trying to repair a tiny chip without my authorization, and knowing I had no insurance to cover it! Yes, I am serious. He was excited that he could get me a deal ($300) on a new windshield which he could schedule to be replaced in two days. Oh, you mean that windshield that was perfectly good and new when I pulled in here, the one that I did not authorize to be repaired, the windshield now costing me time away from work, not to mention devaluing the first car I have ever purchased from a dealership......... Oh, it's not over yet........ in the periphery, as a surreal distraction was his sidekick, a fast talking women who was showing me photos of her kids & their look alike vantriliquist dummies, while reading bible verses to me and asking why I was upset. I expect someone from the company to be at my house tomorrow with a new windshield - courtesy of Novus. I think I have moved from shock and rage to sympathy. This company will not survive with employees such as this. Good people dont always make good employees.
