  • I'd give zero stars if I could. Worst experience I have ever had with a charter bus. Part of a group that chartered 2 busses for a school trip. When drivers arrived for pick up (late), they were standoffish and didn't even help load bags. Once trip started we discovered 1 driver had his girlfriend on the bus (elem school trip - not appropriate.). Bus also had a broken emergency window that one of our teachers had to hold closed the whole 5 hour trip. Return trip had two new busses. One arrived with waste tank full. Tank sprung a leak and flooded the back of the bus (and student belongings.) One of our chaperones helped fix it. Main person at the company offered a 50% refund and guaranteed a great trip for our next trip (which was already booked.). Trip was this past weekend and I was the main chaperone on this trip. Bus we received for 1st leg was great, but driver was very rude. Didn't help load bags. Complained about dropping chaperones off at 2nd hotel (around the corner from first hotel,) answered and talked on phone while on the road, complained about me on his phone to another party in front of other Staff members, parents, and students. Different bus for return trip. Driver was great but bus had broken overhead compartments and broken DVD player (6 hour trip with elem school kids and no movies - no fun.). Company tried to blame us for DVD not working. Said we pushed wrong button on remote when remote didn't work and caused trouble with player. Will never use Triple J Tours again and am telling every other teacher/coach/school I know the same thing.
