  • I have been using Comet Vet Hospital almost since they opened in the 90's for all of my dogs. My very first pup was one of their first clients and he passed away in 2012 at 14. Dr Recupero and staff are always helpful and caring, while also being conservative and honest about any problems and our options. We just had an emergency with our golden and they saw her immediately without an appointment, had xrays and bloodwork ready within a half hour. Dr. Recupero explained our options thoroughly, but unfortunately, she was too sick to save and we chose to end her suffering. They let us wait with her in a quiet room while we contacted our grown kids who drove from across town to say goodbye. Rates are reasonable and I've never felt like they were recommending things I didn't need just to get money from me. I'm pretty sure if we had visited an emergency vet, I would have had a bill for several thousand dollars only to be told she couldn't be saved. That's never the case with this vet. I highly recommend them to everyone I know!
