  • I went to this party city location at 11am to get some minions balloons for my nephew's party. It came prepackaged as 1 item with 5 balloons in it. As I proceeded to stand in line, the lady informed me she can only blow up 1 balloon for me, but if I wanted to have more than one balloon I would have to come back after 1pm. She said I didn't order ahead of time, so I can't have more than 1 balloon. I'm sorry, but I never knew that if you wanted more than 1 balloon with helium you need to call ahead. So are you're telling me that anyone coming in before 1pm can only choose 1 balloon? That sounds pretty ridiculous for a party store where you're supposed to go for all your party needs. If this is the case every section where you have balloons you should put a sign that says "hey if you need us to blow these balloons up make sure you place an order in advanced." I can understand if I'm putting in a big order it would make sense to not get it right away, but if it came prepackaged as 5 balloons how can I can separate it? Why would I just blow up 1 balloon and come back. Would you just charge me for 1 balloon? Probably not! Perhaps you should open up some of those rental helium tanks so you can blow up more balloons. What an inconvenience for me. Such a disappointment for this experience at Party city.
