Banner Baywood recommended this place for my dad - we should have NEVER listened to that nurse who arranged my dad to go to this place. We waited for some worker to come and see him from there prior to explain about what to expect and no one showed up from Mi Casa, that should have been the first red flag. From the moment we walked in and my dad was released from the stretcher, we knew we had made a horrible mistake going there. The entire facility smelled like urine and feces was all over the walls. My dads call light went unanswered for over 45 minutes and his catheter was clogged with bloody urine. No one knew what to do or how to care for his catheter. There were supposedly nurses there 24/7, but no one knew what to do. He was screaming in agony because of the pain and even that didn't get the attention of the staff. Over 45 minutes for something for the pain. Imagine sitting there with a clogged catheter in pain with bloody urine for that long! It made me so sick to see my dad suffer like that. He is the sweetest guy ever. Couldn't find anyone there who was in charge, like a manager or something. Everyone was "in meetings". I wish I had read the other review and went on the Medicare website like a friend suggested before placing him here. Please be ware before going here. It is not a caring place.
