I've been to 20 Chiro's over the years, as I've lived many different places. There's two kinds: basic and value added. The basic crack your neck/back and maybe have you do stretches, but that's about it. The value added spend more time with a patient and combine the adjustments with other therapies. The value added Chiro's are also generally called sports chiropractors. Look for someone who does Graston technique, active release, etc. and ask how long the Chiro spends with the patient. At chandler chiro it's like 5 mins. This is a basic chiro. There's better out there that do more for the patient.
The patient is adjusted while in a room next to the other patients. This is a first in my experience with over 20 Chiro's. Shared room adjustment is most obviously to keep the tempo up and time with patient down. Unfortunate.
