If it's your first time at Holts Spa, it can be a bit challenging to find where it's located. The spa is tucked away in a corner beside Chanel on the second floor. I was warmly greeted by the receptionist who confirmed my appointment and took my jacket, then leading me to a circular waiting area inside.
The entire spa plays the same soothing music you'd hear while enjoying a massage. The atmosphere was great - just sitting in the waiting room puts you at ease.
My manicurist was on time for my appointment and allowed me to take my time picking a color I liked. She was friendly and very gentle with my nails. The only thing I wished they have is a nail dryer because I sat in the same waiting area for 30 minutes before I dared to reach into my purse for my wallet to pay. I always manage to smudge them, hence the paranoia.
The massages here are also excellent, but I do feel 45 minutes is too short. The massage bed is SOO comfortable, I dozed off several times when the masseuse needed to leave the room.
If you have insurance, they have RMTs that can write you a personal receipt to get your massage covered. Overall, Holts is a good option for a day of self-pampering!
