Great spot. Olivier is an enormous french ray of sunshine that absolutely makes this place amazing. If you order your sandwich spicy, you might get an actual "kick" from him while he reads back your order. And his attitude flows into his entire staff, including his Mom. Everyone seems so happy to work there, even early on a Sunday morning.
The quiche is sublime (and I've never used this word before. I just couldn't think of a bigger superlative.) With fluffy filling and crust that is moist and buttery. Don't forget the soups, which are subtly flavored but extremely well-developed. Everything is delicately flavored so don't expect big, bold tastes. They allow the natural flavors of the ingredients to come through. Try to think about a cafe for someone with a more refined palette.
The sandwiches are good, but unfortunately they pale in comparison to the fresh-baked croissants and quiche, so stay there. The smoothies, coffees and teas are strong also...but the quiche! (Cue the angels choir)
