  • Let me start off by saying I generally hate the dentist. I had a lot of bad experiences with them in the past and when I was a kid and it made me very wary ever since. Everyone at Dr. Lazar's office was amazing. The receptionist Sarah makes you feel at right at home, she is amazing at figuring out insurance issues. The assistants Sunshine and Steven are great at answering questions. And Dr. Lazar himself is extremely nice, very professional, and with a fantastic "chairside" manner. He is very good a translating from dentist speak into English so you'll know what's going on. In short- Amazing staff. But my favorite thing about Advanced Dentistry- the stations! Every chair station has it's own flat screen TV (I'd say around 20") mounted on the same type of moveable mount as the light. So when you are laying down having work done the TV is still right in front of you. I watched Friends during my cleaning, and How I Met Your Mother when I got my fillings. This is such a great touch because it allows you to not only block out the noise, NO DRILLING (they use air abrasion!), but to have a visual focus as well. This place has gotten me over my fear of the dentist with their excellent service and welcoming environment. And as strange as it sounds, I look forward to my next appointment.
