  • Had some visitors in town so they asked for my opinion on which buffet was good. Let me start by saying it has been awhile since I've been here so I did go with a lot higher expectations. From what I remembered I use to think this buffet was huge and had tons of food options. I also remember it standing out because of its presentation of single serving foods. The rarity of some certain entrees and wide selection of cuisines. Today however I was a bit taken back by the lack of choices and abundance of "typical" entrees. Nothing, I repeat nothing stood out. You wait in line for 40 min to pay, only to stand in another line for 15 min to be seated...all for what I can only say is an average buffet. Sad to sat but I should have suggested to go to bachannal. I wonder how well they would do if they weren't inside the Cosmopolitan. Anyways, service was also below par. We had to find our server multiple times for various reasons. Plates started to stack up and we basically found the need to bus our own table. Being a local, I might go elsewhere next time.
