The market is good. Clean, organized and many, many items to choose from. It's the staff!
One of the clerks was putting out some vegetables. I excused myself and asked if I could get in to make a selection of Okra. Never looking up, he slowly moved his cart. While I was trying to decide he was slowly inching the cart toward me, as if to hurry me along. Before I could back away completely he already had his cart moving to replace me! The store has a rewards card system, where you can accumulate points for shopping. The past three visits my cashier asks the customer ahead of me if they have a rewards card. Most just gave their phone number. When it's my turn (overtime) I have to ask if I can give her/them my rewards card number. Walking in the door it's guarded like fort knox, yet no one greets you. They just look. The cashiers don't say hello or good bye or have a nice day. I stumbled up the 99 Market on Maryland parkway and it's beautiful. The staff are polite. They even smile. The group on Spring Mountain need a customer service overhaul. Won't be back...Thank you for pushing me out the door. "you know what I mean".
