I have traveled for business for the past 6 years routinely staying in Phoenix at least once a month.
Last week Arizona had monsoons that caused road closures, delayed flights and school closures.
Because i am not from Arizona i decided to cancel my business trip to avoid the monsoon drama.
Unfortunately for me i did not know i had made a reservation with the Hilton Garden Inn Phoenix Airport North until i checked my credit card statement to find that they had charged me for a one-night stay.
I have left 2 voice mail messages for 'Becky' in accounting to resolve the matter without a response.
Furthermore, the front desk gal decided to aggressively state their cancellation policy even though i told her i was already aware of their policy, She needs to learn to listen to customers instead of aggressively talking over them.
I will be taking this issue through the fraud department of my bank if i do not garner a response in the matter.
Furthermore, this hotel is sketchy and i do my best to book elsewhere.
**Remember the Hilton isn't the only hotel in Phoenix or Scottsdale. I'd rather pay more than deal with unresponsive or aggressive staff. i could care less how close to the airport it is!
