  • I came here with my girl friends the next night after an amazing wedding the day before and it was prime catch up time - to the point where we would keep forgetting to check out the menu and the waitress had to come to us 3 times. First of all, I absolutely loved their Funghi Assoluti! So good! I love mushrooms and balsamic dressing! Something about that flavor of the arugola is so distinct that I can't really decide if I like it on its own or not. But together, yum :) For my main course, I had the Ravioli di Zio Paperone (stuffed with duck confit, fig, roasted peppernut squash, parmigiani and sauteed with porcini). Does that sound hella delicious or what? There were some mushrooms in there too and the sauce was so good at coating the ravioli but didn't take away from the gentle flavor of the duck confit. What can I say, Italian food (especially ravioli) is a weakness of mine. I wonder how long it'll be before I return to Toronto. Miss you guys!
