  • Not too much has improved over the last two years, except for the Internet connection and a remodeled complementary breakfast area. However, this motel is still very old and just marginally acceptable. I only utilize this place because our company selects it and I have no other option during our visits for trade shows. The front desk check-in is terribly slow and needs to be improved. There is usually only one employee at the desk and a long line; expect to waste about 35-40 minutes just for the check in. The carpet in the halls is poorly maintained and the hallways are not air conditioned. My room this time had faulty lamp switches which should be replaced and the tub was filling up with water as I used the shower. The carpet in my room was dingy and needs to be vacuumed and thoroughly cleaned. The air conditioner in my room was extremely loud and made it difficult to sleep. My previous stay in April for a Broadcasters show was for 10 days and during that stay we were leaving the parking lot and saw an elderly couple by their car with a broken window. I believe crime in the area to higher than normal.
