  • This once was a favorite, and we went back after a year's absence. It was a Friday night, so it was busy, maybe too busy for the cooks to take care in what they were doing. I ordered Linguine with clams in white wine garlic sauce, my companion ordered penne pasta in vodka sauce with chicken. The linguine was pretty bad. The white sauce had red grease, how does that happen?? More than that, I could barely taste wine...no garlic. In fact to me, it tasted like chicken broth, with onions and wine passed over it. It was soup with noodles. The clams were ok and cooked just right. The penne with vodka sauce was ok as well. No flavor other than sweet tomato. Overall, none of the sauces were allowed to mature, and you couldn't taste the ingredients. It was yucky.
