  • We lived here for over a year and are FINALLY moving out! I have to say this complex is nice. It is clean and we loved using the pool, spa, and gym. We also have 2 pups, so the little areas for them to relieve themselves were convenient. My favorite part was the location. It is right next to Whitney Mesa Recreation Area and I would frequently take my dogs on the Mesa Ridge Run trail and to the grassy park down the street- both within walking distance! Our unit was in pretty good shape when we moved in. My biggest issue was with communication with the office. The water was frequently shut off with little notice. When it came time for us to move out, i tried communicating via email (which is how they communicate) and no one would respond to confirm. Usually it is common courtesy to reply to an email and confirm receipt?!? Also, cell service here is TERRIBLE! I work from home using both T-mobile and Verizon. I would have to go post up at a coffee shop or work at my parent's house if I ever needed to make calls during the day. The WORST part about our stay here were the roaches! About halfway through the year we noticed them. We had just a few at first, but it turned out to be a whole infestation. The office said it was just our unit (yea right). Communication to deal with this issue was terrible and we eventually had to remove everything from the kitchen and bathroom to get a treatment done. Then we moved everything back (so much work!) and the office called back and said they need to do another treatment so prep your apartment again. Ha! We were already scheduled to move in a couple weeks so we declined. Anyway, thanks Venue for all the good things and for being a home to me and my loved ones for a year. Peace out to roaches, bad cell service, and poor communication.
