  • One of the best places in Madison, and as good or better than any other botanical garden I've visited anywhere. Olbrich is Beautiful in every season, an inspiration for gardeners and photographers and a place to soothe the soul. We come here frequently as the gardens change rapidly through the seasons, and are never disappointed. The electric tram is great, especially for those who have difficulty getting around, and it can accommodate a wheelchair. They also have several electric scooters and most of the paths are wheelchair accessible. Their gift shop has well-priced beautiful gifts and books. They often have plants for sale at the gift shop, and they're great quality- the poinsettias at Christmas are the best I've gotten anywhere. Olbrich is a community treasure.
