Went on a Sunday morning and asked for the Pillow Talk and the stylist I had was Vanessa. She was super nice and always gave me the heads up on the whole process so that were would be no surprises, so I appreciated that. Vanessa did a great job in turning my messy hair into really nice waves :)
The reason why I'm giving this place 2/5 stars was for the experience I had afterwards. Their internet went down and after troubleshooting and calling the other locations for assistance, I wasn't able to use my debit card. I didn't have a credit card with me so I could only pay in cash - I'd just need to go out to an atm. The guy at the front desk was really trying to make the best out of the situation and I felt sorry for him b/c the internet connection going down wasn't his fault
But as an established business, I expected that they'd have a better back up system in place in case their systems go down. (the receptionist told me that this has happened to their location before...not sure if the connection is bad b/c of their location, which isn't fully above ground)
It took me an extra 30 minutes to pay my bill! Luckily, the brunch date I had was in Yorkville so I avoided running late.
Vanessa did a great job with my hair but after this experience, I might just go try one of their other locations or another salon altogether.
