| - First time going to CES and it was a blast!
Where shall we begin?
The convention is stretched across the whole strip, utilizing the buildings; Wynn, Aria, Venetian, Sand expo hall and the Las Vegas convention center. For $100 for the 4-day pass, it's incredibly cheap compared to other conferences/ expos.
The convention consists of all genres of new technology, ranging from Smart home, automotive, virtual reality, gaming, cameras, etc. Pretty much every tech company was there except Microsoft and Apple. There were plenty of keynotes/ speakers as well as so many booths to check out for latest technology. Many booths were giving out freebies and free food. There were however, so many people, shoulder to shoulder. The event is well organized with free shuttles moving the attendees around the different buildings.
Tip: Recommended to plan out your days on the CES app to management what you want to do as it gets pretty chaotic and time flies by quicker than you know it. It is also recommended to book your hotels early as prices sky-rocket dramatically. There are also many non-CES related events available that week but you really gotta pick and choose what you ideally want to see.
Be sure to pack light for the day, bring water, external battery for your phone and very comfortable walking shoes. If you're there to network, then business cards are also a great idea.
Overall, HIGHLY recommended event for technies. Will love to attend again next year!
